So what exactly is a networking group?

A networking group is a group of professionals that meet on a regular basis to build relationships and refer business to other members. Networking and relationship building are key in building "Word of Mouth" marketing and networking groups are one of the best ways to do this.

Will I be the only person in the group in my industry?

Yes, our group only allows one (1) person per industry in the group. Though some member's services may overlap a bit, the group and both parties must agree that you will only promote one main business industry within the group.

How do you compare to other networking and leads groups out there?

Well, every group has it's own "personality" and we always recommend visiting a group a couple of times to make sure that you are a good fit for the group AND that the group is a good fit for you. That is why we invite guests to come to our regular meeting any Thursday and see what we are all about.

How long has your group been around?

The Metro Professional Networking group has been around for over 20 years of which we are very proud of. Many of our members have been in the group for many years and we not only have built great business relationships but many long standing friendships have come out of this group as well.

How much does it cost to join Metro Professionals?

Dues are only $40 per quarter which if you do check around to other groups, you'll find is very inexpensive compared to others. Because we are an independent group and do not have salaried staff like some of the other franchise networking groups, we can keep our costs very low. Our funds go to marketing and promoting the group directly. There is also a one time $50 application fee when you join. 

When are your meetings?

We meet every Thursday at 7:15 am at Bill Johnson's Restraunt on 19th Ave and Bell Road. The meetings run until 8:30am.

We also have get togethers, small group get togethers and other smaller events upon occation in order to build our relationships even further.
